Electronic Services - Identification - Generated

This panel contains the identification options for the various types of electronic transmission.

Federal

Transmitter number

Allows you to enter the transmitter number (starting with MM followed by six digits) provided by the CRA for transmission of slips. This number is used by Taxprep Forms when building the transmission file (in XML format).

Client ID

Allows you to enter the client ID provided by the CRA for electronic transmission.

Web Access Code (WAC)

Allows you to enter the Web access code provided by the CRA for electronic transmission. Note that the CRA system is case-sensitive.

Note: The CRA establishes a correspondence between the client ID and the WAC. If these numbers match, you will be able to transmit the XML file electronically.

Québec

Transmitter number

Allows you to enter the transmitter number (starting with NP followed by six digits) provided by Revenu Québec for transmission of RL slips. This number is used by Taxprep Forms when building the transmission file (in XML format).

NEQ

Allows you to enter different identification numbers provided by Revenu Québec for transmission of RL slips.

Identification number

Allows you to enter the number displayed in the source deductions file, for the QST or the corporation income tax provided by Revenu Québec.

File number

Allows you to enter the number displayed in the source deductions file, for the QST or the corporation income tax provided by Revenu Québec.
